Welcome!

I've finally caved & decided to start blogging. I hope I can keep it up-to-date. I'm totally addicted to cross stitching
(I've been told it's an old lady hobby, I guess that means I'm an old lady!) so there will be a lot of cross stitching posts.
There will be pictures of the kids, both 2-legged & 4-legged, Chase, Carter, Baby Hank, Bullseye, Molly, & Baby.
I hope you enjoy reading, I promise to try not to bore you too much. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

A Couple of Finishes

While we were at the beach on Monday, I was able to finish this Lizzie Kate, A Bit of October. So October is now done & I'm on to November. Three more months to stitch & my ornament tree will be done!

Lizzie Kate- Autumn Things

The Beach

Monday I took the boys to Buffalo Beach on the Mississippi River. They've been wanting to go all summer, since we didn't make it there last summer. They had a GREAT time. They swam in the river & played in the sand for 3 solid hours. It's no wonder they slept in till 10:30 the next morning!!!

3 Weeks Tomorrow

I went to visit Hank today. He will be 3 weeks old tomorrow, time sure does fly & he sure is growing! Last week he as already over 9 pounds. I just love the chubby cheeks, I can't give them enough kisses.

Chase's Cat

Chase was able to finish the last requirements yesterday when we were at the river for his 1st merit badge!!! We were all so excited. So tonight when we go to his meeting, we will be able to tell the Cubmaster that Chase has earned his fishing merit badge.

So here he is with his catfish. He had to clean it & cook it. He said cleaning it was tough, the skin was hard to get off of the fish. We were going to Grandma's for dinner, so Chase cooked his fish, & ate it for dinner while the rest of us ate tacos! He said it was good!

Chalkboard

Here is a chalkboard that I finished this afternoon. I plan on adding some charms/buttons on to the chalkboard, 123 & ABCs.

Walcott Days Parade

Today was Walcott's parade. We took the whole family. The guys rode in the truck. Us women & the kids walked the parade & handed out candy, koozies, & frisbies. We had lots of fun & the weather was beautiful!

Me & the boys. It pained Chase to take a picture with me. Carter on the other hand was very photogenic today!

Walcott Community Club always has a funny float to go along with the parades theme. This years theme was down on the farm. So Tim thought it would be funny to have the boys stand in front of the butts of these two cows. We found out during the parade, that the tails actually rose up & water squirted out. How funny!
