Welcome!

I've finally caved & decided to start blogging. I hope I can keep it up-to-date. I'm totally addicted to cross stitching
(I've been told it's an old lady hobby, I guess that means I'm an old lady!) so there will be a lot of cross stitching posts.
There will be pictures of the kids, both 2-legged & 4-legged, Chase, Carter, Baby Hank, Bullseye, Molly, & Baby.
I hope you enjoy reading, I promise to try not to bore you too much. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

I was able to get two of these done this week. I've got three more left & I'll be done with this series!

Here are the last three.... I feel like I've been working on them FOREVER! But at least I've got two years of the Tiny Tidings done. How many years left to go......

My Growing Hank

Now that I'm working at the school, I only get to see Hank on the weekends. :( And to make matters worse, he is moving to Grandview this weekend, which is about an hour away from me. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad! :(

Here are some recent pictures that I took of him when he was with me last Sunday. His new thing is to pull his pacifier out of his mouth, but he has yet to figure out how to get it back in his mouth. So I gave him one to hold on to & one to suck on. I swear he gets more & more cute as the weeks go on. Granted, I wonder if I'll change my mind once he can talk back?!

Two Medleys Done!

By Heart In Hand.
I can't take the credit for these. My friend, Twig, stitched them for me. She was inbetween projects & wasn't sure what to do next.... so she volunteered to stitch up a couple of my medleys for me. Aren't they great?! Thanks again, Twig!!

Family Medley Winter Medley

It was tough to get a good picture of both of them, I hope I've done them justice, they are so cute!!!!!!

GREAT NEWS!!!

I am happy to report after much anticipitation & waiting, that this week I FINALLY got the news that I was hired at the school to sub for a maternity leave. I am filling in for Stacey, who had her baby on Tuesday morning, for about 6 weeks or so. I am working in the pre-school as an associate, I spend my day with 3-year olds. They are always making me smile & full of surprises. Granted, my feet are tired & I am exhausted, I love my job & hope the 6 weeks go slow. I know in reality they are going to fly by. I am already dreading the end of my 6 weeks & know that I will cry. I am adjusting to not being at home full-time, the house is a little messier then normal, but I plan on going back to weekend cleaning instead of thru the week cleaning like I used to do. My stitching of course is lacking, I seem to be too tired by the end of the day to focus on a pattern. I bet by the time that I adjust my 6 weeks will be up & I'll be all sorts of confused all over again!!! Oh well, it's so worth it!

Doggy Friend

Here is Bullseye with our backyard neighbors dog, Rusty. We couldn't believe that Bullseye didn't have the hairs on his back standing up, usually he doesn't like other dogs in his yard. But they were checking each other out & played for a bit.

Merry Ho Ho

By Lizzie Kate. Here is the first in the Santa series, 1999. The original plan was to stitch the entire series for my ornament tree..... but they are going to be too big. So now I'm not sure how I'm going to finish them.
It felt like it took me FOREVER to stitch this one. I think it's just because I haven't had much time to stitch lately. Hopefully that will change or I'm going to have a very bare ornament tree come December!

Cans

I stitched these for me & my friend, Twig. I couldn't decide how to finish them..... then it came to me..... so here they are. I used Hank's empy formula cans.

Here is mine, sitting on my desk, holding all of my STUFF.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Baby Macy!

It's hard to believe.... but Baby is 3 today! She's still my puppy, no matter how old she is!
