Welcome!

I've finally caved & decided to start blogging. I hope I can keep it up-to-date. I'm totally addicted to cross stitching
(I've been told it's an old lady hobby, I guess that means I'm an old lady!) so there will be a lot of cross stitching posts.
There will be pictures of the kids, both 2-legged & 4-legged, Chase, Carter, Baby Hank, Bullseye, Molly, & Baby.
I hope you enjoy reading, I promise to try not to bore you too much. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

Mommy's Girls

Here are Mommy's girls striking a pose for the camera. They were cuddling up together for a nap. I had to interupt to get a picture. I'm such a proud dog Mama!

I'm not sure if Molly is trying to tell me something????

My last ornamnet for March

Here is my last ornament for March. Lucky by Stitches'N'Stones. Now I'm working on some birthday ornaments, Birthday Blessings, by Lizzie Kate. I'm going to do one for each of us to hang on my ornament tree during our birthday month.

Valentine Day Gifts

I participated in a Valentine's Day exchange with some stitching friends. Here is what Loretta sent me. A very cute ornament for my ornament tree, a heart notepad, some pencils, & a cute little package of kleenex! Sorry- I don't know how to rotate my ornamnet?????

And this stuff I got from my friend Debbie. She sent me some pink opalscent fabric, lots of pink floss, some brads, & a cute little apple kit.

Thanks ladies for all of my goodies. I had a rough day yesterday, two kids getting a total of 7 shots & 1 finger poke.... these gifts couldn't have come at a better time!

We survived!!!

Well Emersyn & I survived the week without Mom. It was a long week & as much as I love her I was happy to take her home on Thursday to her Dad. :)
Monday night Carter ended up sick, so Emersyn & I slept together out in the living room. She was up at 2:30 & never really went back to sleep. So Tuesday was a long day. She slept pretty good the rest of the week. She took a pretty good nap, just one though, but it was usually 2 to 2 1/2 hours, so I can't complain about that one. We learned to nod yes when we are asked a question, it is nice, she is finally starting to communicate a little better- other than screaming at you. She's quite the ham. All in all we had a pretty good week. But it's always good to have Mom back home!

Emersyn learned to drink out of a big person up with a straw last week & didn't even tip it. She thought she was pretty big stuff! And I have to admit it was really cute.

Waterpark FUN!!!!

We took Chase & Carter to the waterpark this weekend. They swam themselves silly!!! I sat & crossed stitched most of the time, but had just as much fun watching them as anything else. It's always fun to see the big smiles on their faces. :)

Trying to cross the Millrace. Waiting for the bucket of water to dump on their heads!

Dad had fun torturing them in the whirlpool by dragging them around! They "pretended" not to like it but we all know better.

More stitching

This weekend I was able to finish 3 more ornaments. 2 for March. One I haven't decided if I'm going to make it into a magnet (like it's supposed to be) or an ornament.

These two are from about.com.

This is from the new Mill Hill Spring series. This was my 1st attempt at one of their kits. Debbie told me that I'd be addicted.... she was totally right. I can't wait to do my next one.

Hump Day

I am so glad that today is Wednesday, that means I have two more days to make it through. You would think staying home with a 4-year old & a 1-year old is not hard work. WRONG, so very wrong. Emersyn has done nothing but scream at me most of the week & is anti-sleeping. Put teething, anti-sleeping, frustration cause you can't do what you want into a 1-year old & this is what you get. It just reinforces why on earth I don't want children. I love them but I love them even more when they go home at the end of the day!!!!

On a good note, here are some pictures that bring a smile to my face.....
Molly, enjoys Ben & Jerry's just as much as her Mommy does!

Clayton won 1st place in his very first wrestling tournament. We are so proud!

Audrey got to cheer at the basketball game last night... totally worth the $5 it cost to get in to watch her!

And as much as Emersyn makes me crazy with her screaming.... she sure is darn cute!!!

The First Day

Here is my 1st day of blogging. I'm not exactly sure what I'm even doing!
I guess I'll start by introducing my kids- Bullseye, Molly, & Baby Macy. Yes, they are 2-legged. They are rat terriers. Bullseye is the Daddy dog, Molly is the Mommy dog, & Baby Macy is their kid. Yes, I treat them like they are my kids. They are the best kids- they cost a lot less & they don't talk back. Plus you don't have to hire a sitter if you want to go out. They are the loves of my life.
Here is Bullseye:
