Welcome!

I've finally caved & decided to start blogging. I hope I can keep it up-to-date. I'm totally addicted to cross stitching
(I've been told it's an old lady hobby, I guess that means I'm an old lady!) so there will be a lot of cross stitching posts.
There will be pictures of the kids, both 2-legged & 4-legged, Chase, Carter, Baby Hank, Bullseye, Molly, & Baby.
I hope you enjoy reading, I promise to try not to bore you too much. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

A little behind on the updates!

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I've last blogged, where does the time go?!?! I had a job interview on the 2nd of March, found out on the 5th that I'd gotten the job, & started back to work on the 8th. I am working at a daycare in a town close to home, about 15-20 minutes away. Right now I am part-time but we had a lady gone this past week so I worked full-time. It's been a very big & hard adjustment for me, I've worked from home for 4-years & going back in to the real world of work has been tough. I knew it'd be an adjustment, I just never realized how BIG of an adjustment it would be. For the past two weeks, I've worked & done the bare minimum at home for us to survive. It's been interesting to say the least! I still have Hank on the weekends, so I don't have much free time anymore. Hopefully this week I'll be back to normal hours at the daycare, which will be between 20 & 30 a week. A little more managable!
This Friday I started a 4-day streatch of days off. So my house is caught back up & back to normal (whatever that means). That takes a little stress off of me.
I haven't had time to stitch much. Sometimes at nap time I can get a few stitches in, if I'm not too tired, & don't just want to close my eyes with the kids. I have a couple of pieces I need to blog, hopefully I can get my pictures dowloaded tomorrow.
I hope you all have been doing well! Hopefully my next update won't be so long or so far off.

Nothing New

to report in my life. I've been working at the pre-school still. I have no idea if the lady I am subbing for is returning to work or not, she is very undecided at this point. And I can't blame her one bit, it's her last baby, but yet she loves her job & jobs at the school are hard to come by. It kinda sucks for me because I'm in limbo but for now, the money is good, the hours are great, & the job is do-able.
I have been fighting a cold since Thursday this week. I've been pretty lucky, 4 weeks around all these sick kids, & this is the first "sick" I've had. I don't feel too bad, just pretty tired, & really ready to stop coughing.

Here is a picture of Molly last weekend with her Daddy. He's on Facebook & she's "helping" him. Granted her tounge is sticking out, so I'm pretty sure whatever he is looking at she does not like!!!!

GREAT NEWS!!!

I am happy to report after much anticipitation & waiting, that this week I FINALLY got the news that I was hired at the school to sub for a maternity leave. I am filling in for Stacey, who had her baby on Tuesday morning, for about 6 weeks or so. I am working in the pre-school as an associate, I spend my day with 3-year olds. They are always making me smile & full of surprises. Granted, my feet are tired & I am exhausted, I love my job & hope the 6 weeks go slow. I know in reality they are going to fly by. I am already dreading the end of my 6 weeks & know that I will cry. I am adjusting to not being at home full-time, the house is a little messier then normal, but I plan on going back to weekend cleaning instead of thru the week cleaning like I used to do. My stitching of course is lacking, I seem to be too tired by the end of the day to focus on a pattern. I bet by the time that I adjust my 6 weeks will be up & I'll be all sorts of confused all over again!!! Oh well, it's so worth it!

It's almost Saturday!!!!

I've gotten through 5 days & 4 nights. That leaves me 2 more nights & 1 1/2 more days till Tim & Chase get home. It has seemed like the longest week ever. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO ready for them to be home. The day isn't so bad but going to bed is, there is nobody to play with the dogs, nobody to talk to before the girls & I get in to our bed. I think this is the longest time I've been by myself...... I sure hope that they next day and a half goes by super fast.
I have to thank my friend, Twig, who has done a really good job of keeping me company this week. We even figured out how to talk via webcam & mics. It's been great to have somebody else to talk to, the 4-legged kids aren't great at carrying on a conversation.
All in all it hasn't been a bad week. I've gotten a lot of stitching done, I've gotten some house cleaning done, & I've got some re-organization done. My only wish is that it would go by faster!

Hump Day

I am so glad that today is Wednesday, that means I have two more days to make it through. You would think staying home with a 4-year old & a 1-year old is not hard work. WRONG, so very wrong. Emersyn has done nothing but scream at me most of the week & is anti-sleeping. Put teething, anti-sleeping, frustration cause you can't do what you want into a 1-year old & this is what you get. It just reinforces why on earth I don't want children. I love them but I love them even more when they go home at the end of the day!!!!

On a good note, here are some pictures that bring a smile to my face.....
Molly, enjoys Ben & Jerry's just as much as her Mommy does!

Clayton won 1st place in his very first wrestling tournament. We are so proud!

Audrey got to cheer at the basketball game last night... totally worth the $5 it cost to get in to watch her!

And as much as Emersyn makes me crazy with her screaming.... she sure is darn cute!!!
